In March of 1985, Brannen Bank opened the West Inverness Office as a branch of The Bank of Inverness to serve the emerging growth area west of downtown Inverness.

In February of 2008, this branch of The Bank of Inverness, a member of the Brannen Banks of Florida, Inc., was consolidated with the other offices in the holding company and renamed Brannen Bank.
