On December 23, 1987, the Brannen family opened the Brooksville Office as The Hernando County Bank and pledged to offer the same high quality services that Brannen Banks have provided Central Floridians for over 80 years.
In February of 2008, The Hernando County Bank, a member of the Brannen Banks of Florida, Inc., was consolidated with the other offices in the holding company and renamed Brannen Bank.
