Recognizing the need for banking services for the residents of Hernando, the Hernando Office was opened by Brannen Bank in May of 1993, as a branch of The Bank of Inverness.
In February of 2008, this branch of The Bank of Inverness, a member of the Brannen Banks of Florida, Inc., was consolidated with the other offices in the holding company and renamed Brannen Bank.
