The Floral City Office was opened by Brannen Bank in 1980, as a branch of The Bank of Inverness to serve the banking needs of the southeast area of Citrus County.
In February of 2008, this branch of The Bank of Inverness, a member of the Brannen Banks of Florida, Inc., was consolidated with the other offices in the holding company and renamed Brannen Bank.
